Harmony in Motion: An Internal Arts & Sound Retreat

This is a first of its kind from Three Treasures. We will do a deep dive into the 5 Elements of Xing Yi and the Linking Form that brings them all together. We will also practice the Yang Style Tai Chi form.

The day will be so unique as we have teamed up with Kay from Vibrance Sound Experiences to share music and sounds to help us work on the movements with a wonderful soundscape. www.vibrance-soundexperiences.com

The day will be held at Ignite Studios, which is a great new location in Biggleswade. They have lovely spaces and a cafe that will be serving tea, coffee and cakes, with the option of hot meals that can be pre ordered, or you can bring your own food.

The retreat will be from 10am until 4pm and you are welcome to arrive early to get a drink and relax before we get started. The main part of the training will be held between 10am and 1:30pm. We will practice the Tai Chi & Xing Yi forms, and then later, we will combine the movement with sound.

Kay will accompany our movement with gongs, singing bowls, drums and other instruments. Some of these instruments create powerful resonating sounds that can penetrate the body and help to release energy. Here you’ll have the chance to use the Tai Chi & Xing Yi you’ve learnt with these powerful vibrations.

After lunch, we will be treated to a relaxing Sound Bath*. You can lay or sit in complete relaxation while Kay removes tension and blockages and takes you on a journey using a wide array of incredible instruments. This is a real treat!

*The sound baths are not recommended during the first three months of pregnancy. If you have a pacemaker, metal implants, experience epilepsy or other types of seizures, have a sound sensitive condition such as Labrythitus or Meniers Disease or had recent surgery (past 3 months).
