The Turtle Expands and Contracts

This is the latest video to be released on the Monkey Temple and showcases an interesting Nei Gong set called 'The Turtle Expands and Contracts it's Limbs'. It can be found in the 'Bite Size' classes.

This is a great Nei Gong set and when practiced it can work very well with ‘ Wuji Part 3, The Three Stages’.

Here we look at the ‘3 External Harmonies’. These are the hips and Shoulders, knees and elbows and the feet and hands and the use of the breath to move the body.

This set can be practiced gently or with some power but be sure to start gently at first. It works nicely on the tendons and bones and shows clearly how force is transmitted from the centre and out through the limbs using spiraling force.
